has developed a portable water disinfection station. The complete unit weighs 12 kg (~26 lbs) and fits inside a standard airline overhead carry-on case (20" x 16" x 10"). It is able to produce 20 liters of drinking water in ~15 minutes using less than 100 Watts of power, about as much as an incandescent light bulb. The machine can meet the basic daily water needs of 30 - 50 people at an affordable ~10 USD per person per year.
The heart of the water disinfection station is a patented ozone-generating water purification cell which produces ozone 4 - 5x more efficiently than competing cells. Performance data indicates that the machine is able to effectively eliminate a range of pathogens in contaminated water.
improved ozone generating efficiency allows the Company to target markets where the main power sources are batteries, solar panels, or portable (fuel / human-powered) generators. In these markets the company believes its products have a compelling advantage and may represent the only viable solution.
